The Trauma Network Office
The Trauma Network Office provides support to all of the organisations and service providers within and associated with, the major trauma pathways throughout the Peninsula.
It provides the following services:
- Network reports and performance
- Local TARN data support
- Directory of Trauma Services
- Clinical Governance and Audit
- Support to the Network Executive Board, Clinical Advisory Group and Rehabilitation Group
The team comprises of:
Dr Chris Manlow, Clinical Director
Dr Manlow is an Emergency Medicine Consultant
Dr Fionna Lowe, Governance Lead
Dr Lowe is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine as well as our PTN Frailty Group Co-Chair and HEMS Doctor with Cornwall Air Ambulance
Dr Giles Haythornthwaite, Paediatric Lead (Peninsula and Severn Trauma Networks)
Dr Haythornthwaite is a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant
Claire Marks, Network Lead Nurse
Claire is a Lead Major Trauma Clinical Coordinator at the MTC
Surgeon Captain, Professor Jason Smith, Honorary Research Lead
Dr Smith is an Emergency Medicine Consultant, Professor of Defence Medicine and Honorary Professor, Plymouth University School of Medicine & Dentistry
Michele Ahearne, Major Trauma Manager
Natasha-Louise White, Peninsula Trauma Network Coordinator
